The Eugene Clean Energy Fund turns corporate profits into community power through a small 2% fee on corporations operating in Eugene and earning $1 billion nationally. The funds will power clean energy work and support community-wide climate resilience.
The fund is expected to generate around $15 million annually, which would be invested back into our community to expand access, support and incentives for clean energy upgrades and weatherization, as well as infrastructure, jobs and innovation.

Last year on the Autumn Equinox we, along with our friends at Third Act, organized Sun Day: a day to celebrate clean energy. Solar and wind energy are now much more affordable and accessible for consumers, making it so much easier for everyone to get on board the green energy train!
You can often find us at the Eugene City Council meetings. We have to get creative to really grab their attention!
In 2015 we helped put together this youth-centered Global Climate March. This collaborative art project, featuring 500 people showing up saying "Get OFF dirty energy and ON clean energy!", was shown to world leaders as they enetered the negotiation chambers for COP21.
