It’s our year-end fundraising appeal! We know all the many year-end requests are coming fast and furious. Thanks for giving ours a look! We never thought we’d find ourselves fighting to pull our democracy back from the brink of authoritarianism… But here we are! And 350 Eugene is throwing down hard with our allies to do this work and we’re asking for your help. 350 Eugene has a modest annual fundraising goal of $10,000 for our expanded activities to not only win the environmental policies the climate crisis demands, but also to support democratic institutions and protect our community members who are facing violent racial, gender and other attacks. Due largely to massive resistance by people like you, in grassroots groups like ours, the lawless and cruel tactics on display across the country by the president and his cabinet are facing massive obstacles. You can feel it. We’re turning the tide through relentlessly and creatively showing up in the streets, boardrooms and at town halls. Thanks for all you’re doing. If we want to fix the climate, we have to fix our democracy! There is progress… Climate advocacy efforts at the state and local levels are paying off. Several good bills in Salem passed: HB3365 Climate Education in public schools, HB3681 Streamlining renewable energy permitting, HB3546 The POWER Act, which aims to protect households from rising energy costs caused by data centers, cryptocurrency and other big tech, HB3179 The FAIR Act improved energy affordability for consumers, HB 2567 and SB827 Extend and modify heat pump and solar rebate programs, and more! Local efforts are key at the City of Eugene level and at the Eugene Water and Electric Board. 350 Eugene was successful in advancing two Oregon Department of Energy grants to fund solar projects: one for the airport and one for the YMCA. With solar, batteries and wind energy cheaper, easier and faster to deploy than ever, the clean energy transition is unstoppable! We would appreciate your support in 2026. 350 Eugene is leveraging our creativity, experience and networks to continue this important work and we’re counting on you to help us. Donate today! Thank you! This is how we spend some money 350 Eugene currently supports KRVM 91.9 with snazzy underwriting to engage and educate the public! (We love bringing our creative climate-magic to local public radio stations, newspapers, theater slides and events!) These are our latest. Take a listen!
