Grassroots Activation! When Minneapolis was violently invaded by masked federal agents, who murdered two people in broad daylight, Americans took to the streets IN SOLIDARITY in unprecedented numbers and are continuing to show up. This is how we win. We won’t be ignored. We are part of a growing nonviolent grassroots movement that rejects their fascist worldview. We proclaim OUR hopes and dreams for a just America based on the rule of law and shared prosperity. The Zeitgeist is shifting. The damage and turmoil created by this administration have exposed a political tipping point, a moment of danger, but also of possibility. What is true for the democracy crisis is also true for the climate crisis. We are facing critical tipping points and we must act now. The world is poised to exceed the 1.5 C target set for limiting average global warming set a dozen years ago at the Paris Climate Talks. Let’s leverage this moment of intersecting crises. Hope is in our grassroots movement! The time is now. The clean energy revolution is here; progressives are on the move: running for office, organizing mutual aid, raising money and holding officials accountable. Americans hate fascism and are standing up. We’re not going back to the “good old days…” We demand justice!
