LIVE STREAM WATCH PARTY TO CELEBRATE OUR FREEDOMS IN COMMUNITIES EVERYWHERE  It’s time to show up! Rise Up, Sing Out: A Concert for the First Amendment An uplifting evening of song, solidarity, and action. On Sunday, June 14th, the Committee for the First Amendment will be hosting. The event will be live-streamed at Watch Parties in communities across the country! You won’t want to miss! Program starts at 4:30 pm) Where: Unitarian Universalist Church in Eugene at 13th & Chambers (map) Local hosts: Indivisible Eugene Springfield and Singing Resistance The 90-minute concert event will celebrate the freedoms guaranteed by our First Amendment—of speech, religion, press, assembly, and protest—and the people power that both fuels these rights and is essential to guarantee them. Let’s come together and sing along, find inspiration, build community and take meaningful action together.  Even as authoritarians increase their attacks on our freedoms and communities, we see examples across the country of people rising up together, taking action, and turning back those forces.
